Lola to the Rescue!

Daddy started work on Monday. And Mommy won't be able to start her Mommy Duties until a week and a half from now. So just who the heck is taking care of Hannah? Why Lola of course!

Aunt Samantha Visits!

Hannah finally got to meet Auntie Samantha and her boyfriend Erich!
Auntie Samantha is Christine's half sister. Can you believe they're related? Thanks for coming down to San Diego. When are you guys moving down?

We also got to see Auntie Vanessa, Uncle Pat and Cousin Jude.

Keeping Up With The Grandmases

After our stay in Irvine we headed over to Palm Springs to see Lola!


Lola was even nice enough to play with Hannah for a few hours while Mom and Dad saw a movie -- their first one since Hannah was born! The movie? The Frieda Pinto vehicle: Slumdog Millionaire!
POP QUIZ: what was the last movie Mom and Dad saw before Hannah was born? Hint: It's listed on this blog ("Last Minute Fun" to be exact).

Afterwards we made out to our final Grandpa and Grandma stop. Grandpa Bruce and Grandma Eva both had colds so they suggested we meet them at their office instead of their germ-infested home.
From the looks of it I think Grandpa suspects Grandma has SARS.

To all at City Hall, although we wanted to, we sincerely apologize for not being able to stop by. Our schedule was just too tight!

Our Thanksgiving Weekend

We spent Thanksgiving Dinner eating Chicken McNuggets and Cheeseburgers. Yep, you read that right! We have some doctors in the family and they do not usually get Thanksgiving day off, so we wanted to save our appetite for the following day's dinner, and McDonalds is the only place we knew would be open. Plus, we are really lazy.

Help! Our family is being overrun by girls!

On Sat, we spent the day with Mom's family. But instead of a Thanksgiving celebration, it was a birthday one. Nate, our cousin's boy, turned 7. It was great to catch up with family...most of whom we haven't seen in a year!

Hannah was asleep for most of this celebration. We should take her to more parties!

Hannah Meets More Anties, Uncles and Cousins

This past week Hannah finally met the rest of our family: Auntie Vanessa, Uncle Pat, Cousin Jude and Auntie Lisa. Cute!

2 Weeks Old!

Hannah is now 2 weeks old! She's now one ounce over birthweight, and she grew an inch and a half (but lost about an inch of her cone head). We also think she's gotten a little chubbier. But most importantly, her eye muscles are developing so she doesn't look so cross-eyed anymore. She isn't inheriting daddy's vision...Yay!

Anyway, to celebrate, we took her on her first walk ever. Check out her pimpin' ride!

Grandma Convention!

Grandma Anna has been here all week to help Mommy out during Daddy's first week back at work. What a perfect opportunity for Grandma Kazuko and Grandpa Taka to stop by!

The last time the three have met was during our wedding. Mommy and Daddy were so excited we forgot to include Hannah in the picture. Sorry Hannah!
