Captain's log: Sept. 6th, 2008. Today is Hannah's official due date. It's about 4:30pm and there have been absolutely no signs of labor. Looks like North Carolina will be seeing more of Hanna than we will (badump bump!). We were hoping to take a picture of our daughter with the day's newspaper, and it would have been cool to have a headline like "Hanna's Destructive Force Rips Through the Nation!!!!!" We would change her name to Ike but we already bought the letters for her room.Yep, Hurricane Hanna jokes will never get old to us, so you'll just have to deal, suckas!

we went into labor on the day after it was due.. the doctor removed some membrane thingie using her finger(i think it's called "membrane sweeping") on that day, and maybe that's what did the trick??? good luck you guys!!!! (p.s. if she goes into labor late at night try to check in after midnight to get an extra day at the hospital, and if you use the bath maybe don't use the jacuzzi jets... when we did it all this hottub scum came out)
(there's something else N can do to get labor going too, but i won't get into that) sorry you can delete my comments if they're too graphic!
