Unfortunately, Hannah's hair is getting so long at the top that it's starting to droop. So in order to prepare ourselves for the next hair phase, we tried out a couple of new do's:

We went to the pediatrician yesterday and here are some facts and figures:
Hannah can now hold her head up! Actually she was able to a few weeks ago, but she's only now starting to enjoy being in the Bumbo. And I've been a lazy poster for those two holiday weeks.
We're looking forward to walks with Hannah in a Baby Bjorn! Fortunately, Auntie Jenny sent us hers just in time. Thanks Jenny!
Hannah is able to lift her head! That was fast -- it's only been 10 weeks! Now if she could only progress as quickly in the sleep department...
Yeah, Hannah has a cradle cap problem (see earlier post). Fortunately we have it under control -- for now. Her face rash is improving too. Thanks Aquafor!
Hannah has developed cradle cap. Either that or it's snowing in the San Fernando Valley. We washed it off and it really isn't too big a deal, but hopefully it won't continue.
Hannah started smiling this week! Thankyouthankyouthankyou! We don't care if it's gas..we'll take it!
Hannah is 4 weeks old today! What a perfect excuse to come up with a time capsule! In her 28 days here on earth she already has some favorites. And by favorites I mean stuff that doesn't make her cry. Here they are:
Hannah is now 2 weeks old! She's now one ounce over birthweight, and she grew an inch and a half (but lost about an inch of her cone head). We also think she's gotten a little chubbier. But most importantly, her eye muscles are developing so she doesn't look so cross-eyed anymore. She isn't inheriting daddy's vision...Yay!
After only 9 days, Hannah's umbilical cord dropped! This item will fit in nicely with our meconium poop, orange urine crystals and early booger collection.
The image on the left is a picture of our daughter just ten minutes outside of the womb. Yikes!!!! Luckily, Cedars has an awesome Costco-style return policy, so we ended up taking it back and got one of these really cute ones on the right instead. They even threw in a designer hat for our trouble. Thanks Cedars!
